Juante M. Hall a native of Cincinnati, Ohio was born into a large family of musicians and singers; it was inevitable that he would begin to show his musical ability. At the age of twelve, he started playing the bass guitar. Juante quotes "My grandmother purchased me a bass guitar; and I can’t remember not knowing how to play". After playing several years, Juante started to spread his gift by playing with up and coming artist. He has been blessed to have accompanied many singers and musicians such as: Rodney Posey, Donald Lawrence, Shirley Caesar, Kevin Bond, Dorothy Norwood, Marvin Sapp, The Grammy Nominated Central State Chorus and Dawkins & Dawkins, just to name few.
Aside from playing bass, Juante also has been gifted with producing and writing. Juante has produced such songs as Keep Movin’ and Love (Jonathan Dunn Another Level). Better, He Can Do It, Miraculous Remix (Jonathan Dunn And Another Level). Free and Victory (Amante Lacey’s The Scale of Worship). He also has co-producer on Jonathan Dunn’s "Another Level" (2004) and "And Another Level" (2005) projects and the role of producer on Amante Lacey’s "The Scale of Worship" (2006) and Jonathan Dunn's "Fresh Anointing" (2010). Now, in 2012, Juante has rocked the music industry with recent placements Glory, recorded by Marvin Sapp on his recent release "I Win" , Throne, recorded by Byron Cage on his recent release "Memoirs of a Worshipper" and Nobody Else, recorded by Amber Bullock on her recent release "So In Love".
Recently Juante has launched J. Marrez Music, a conglomerate of independent writers and producers. Juante says, with the launch of his new company he plans to give artist and the music industry just what they need and want, quality production with a progressive sound.
Juante's innovative and chance taking style and sound, has changed popular music today. He takes pride in his success at staying ahead of the curve with his originality and experimentation. Confident and charismatic, his goal is still to blow the listener’s mind and make them move to the beat. On a personal note, Juante says pleasing God is his focus, and if God is pleased, then he is successful."
